Charles John Treiber Jr 74 of Covington, Georgia passed away on September 9, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born to Charles and Helen Treiber on May 26, 1947 in Ratot, Hungary. He was always proud of his Hungarian heritage, having fled communist Hungary with his family in 1956.
Charles or Chucky as he was known by his loved ones, is survived by his wife Debra Brown Treiber. Chucky also leaves behind his children Charles John Treiber III, Angel Hurst, Kristeen Rocha, and Laura Elderkin, as well as his loving grandchildren Derek, Adam, Alexandra, Emma, Ethan, Fiona, Nola, Isaac, Dizera, and Charlie. He also leaves his siblings Victor Treiber and Pearl Bowman. He was predeceased by his brother Miklos Treiber.
Chucky served honorably in the Navy as a young man. He worked as a machinist for most of his life. He volunteered for his local fire department for years. While his children were young he volunteered his tim
