Biography of Keith Allen
Keith Allen is a Welsh actor, comedian, musician, singer, songwriter, writer, and television presenter. He is best known for being the father of singer Lily Allen and actor Alfie Owen-Allen. Keith was born in Gorseinon, Swansea, Wales. His father, Edward Charles Owen, was a Royal Navy submariner. He spent his early years in Swansea, Malta, and Gosport.
Keith attended a school in Essex at the age of 11 but was expelled at 13. At 15, he was sent to a juvenile detention center for theft, which he claimed to have enjoyed. In the 1970s, Keith had several jobs, including working as a stagehand, but was fired for appearing nude on stage during a performance by Max Bygraves' choir.
Keith found success as a comedian and performed as an opening act for popular rock bands like The Clash. In the 1980s, he appeared in the Channel 4 series "The Comic Strip
