    The 40-year-old actress disclosed that they first connected when she was 17 years old, and they got married when she was 18 the following year.

    Nkiru clarified that the reason she chose to marry so young was that, even at the age of 14, she was receiving a lot of proposals, which encouraged her to think about starting a family.

    She said;

    “I met my husband when I was 17 years old but I got married at 18. I had my first son a month before my 19th birthday. I can’t say why I decided to get married that early. I started having suitors quite early and this made me consider starting a family early. I saw my husband, chose him and the rest is history.
